Office of the Treasurer

The term of office for the Treasurer is two years. This position currently also serves as the Club Secretary.

The election for this office shall occur in an odd numbered year. The term of the Treasurer will commence in January of an even numbered year.

The duties of the Treasurer are:

*	Be present at the monthly membership meetings, Officer Meetings and the Board of Directors meetings.
*	Present the Financial Report at monthly Membership Meetings.
*	Be responsible for accurate accounting of all receipts, disbursements and expenditures according to generally accepted accounting practices. Maintain the Club checking account, and all associated records. Pay authorized invoices, bills and statements.

Monthly

*	Reconcile monthly bank statements and the Club checking account.

*

Annually

*	Submit payment for the Wisconsin Corporation Fee (during January, with the Corporate Report).
*	Submit National MARC Dues (during December)
*	Prepare and submit Federal and Wisconsin Tax Forms, and provide copies to the Club Secretary for permanent filing.

*	Receive local membership dues payments.
*	Present an Annual Financial Statement at the Annual Board of Directors Meeting.
*	Forward any National Dues payments made by Club members to the National MARC Treasurer.
*	Prepare and distribute Membership Cards.
