Office of the Secretary
The term of office for the Secretary is two years. This position currently also serves as the Club Treasurer.
The election for this office shall occur in an odd numbered year. The term of the Secretary will commence in January of an even numbered year.
The duties of the Secretary are:

Be present at the monthly membership meetings, Officer Meetings and the Board of Directors meetings. |

Record and maintain a permanent record of all Meeting minutes. |
* |
Forward Meeting minutes to the Editor for publication in the Badger’s “A” newsletter. |
* |
Receive and process all correspondence. |
* |
Prepare all official correspondence on behalf of the Club, Officers and Board of Directors of the Club. Examples of such correspondence include, but are not limited to: |

National Club Questionnaire (December of each year) |
* |
Wisconsin Corporation Report (January of each year) |
* |
Routine correspondence |
* |
Maintain Club membership information, including: |
* |
Membership List (Member name(s), Address, National Club Membership Number, Spouse Name, Phone numbers, Email address, Anniversaries and Birthdays) |
* |
Auto insurance records as submitted by the Club members |
* |
Ensure that new members complete the Member Information Form, and receive copies of the Club Constitution and Guidelines. |
* |
Obtain the annual update of the National MARC Membership List (March of each year) and verify active national membership of Badger’s A Club members. |
* |
Maintain copies of the Badger’s A newsletter for two years. |
* |
Maintain supplies as needed for the routine performance of the Secretary’s duties. |
* |
Maintain Archived Club Records, including but not limited to: |
* |
Meeting Minutes |
* |
Correspondence (for a minimum of two years) |
* |
Wisconsin Corporation Report |
* |
Constitution and Guidelines |
* |
Maintain other files as may be directed by the Officers or Board of Directors. |
