Editor

The position of Editor is an appointed position (appointed by the President) and therefore is not subject to elections.

The duties of the Editor are:

*	Be present at the monthly membership meetings, Officer Meetings and the Board of Directors meetings.
*	Prepare the Club Newsletter, consisting of:

*	Listing of all Officers, Club Policy Statement, annual dues, deadline for submittals, and Membership Application form.
*	Copy of last Membership Meeting Minutes.
*	Notices for next Membership Meeting.
*	Schedule of Upcoming Events.
*	Classified advertisements, including paid advertisements as available.
*	Technical articles.
*	Listing of new members

The deadline for all submittals for the Monthly Club Newsletter shall be the 20th of each month. This is subject to change due to Holidays or other events, and the Editor's schedule.

If space constraints limit the number of advertisements that can be placed, the following prioritization shall be used to select advertisements for the Club Newsletter:

*	Wisconsin Region advertisements precede Shared advertisements
*	Model A related advertisements precede non-Model A related advertisements

For advertisements to be shared with other MARC/MAFCA clubs which are participants of the Wisconsin Model A Reunion, the submittal deadline is the 15th of each month. Those Clubs are:

*	Wisconsin Chapter MAFCA
*	Nickle A Region MARC
*	Central Wisconsin Chapter MARC/MAFCA

Club Newsletter mailing procedures:

*	Send one extra Newsletter to the Club Historian for file/archive purposes
*	Maintain one extra Newsletter for Editor's file and reference purposes
*	Send one extra Newsletter to the Club President, at their option, for their use in the Office of President
*	It is the Editor’s/Membership discretion to send one copy of the Newsletter to the National MARC office for judging in their Newsletter Award Program. Their address is:
